WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT OUR HOME
We fell in love with this beautiful home and consider the two years we have lived in it a rare gift. The beautiful, unique spaces waken the imagination with new revelations around each corner and a remarkable, unexpected relationship with light through each day and every season. Our children each have favorite corners to read and dream and be still, but when we choose we can open our doors and have large gatherings or small cosy dinners with friends–all while enveloped by the warmth and character unique to this space. This home embraces all those activities that enrich and make a life meaningful. The low-maintenance garden has delighted and surprised us with the cleverness of its planting. The previous owners were thoughtful and deliberate in their planning and so every season has something that brings delight. We have hung a hammock between the back yard trees that became a favorite spot on beautiful summer days. Our neighbors are quiet and private but friendly and extremely helpful. The location is extremely walkable and every Saturday morning in the summer we visit the farmers market and on weekdays we walk to the library or stroll to dinner downtown. Our children walked to school–ETHS and Dewey are both in easy walking distance and the middle school children on the street walk to Nichols in a group. We are relocating out of state, or we would not be leaving this exceptional home. It offers its owners a beautiful lifestyle.
